We took a horse draw carriage around the pyramids, (one of the shots is of the pyramids at dawn from our hotel room) one bit of advice - make sure you ask the hotel how much it's going to cost before going (the hotel organized it at the front desk) - and request that you 'do not want to see any papyrus or perfume factories' as the driver will probably take you there by default.
